Kris Miller will enter his 18th season coaching football in 2025, marking his 11th year as Head Coach at Ephrata High School. He was named the 2023 Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 3 Coach of the Year and PSFCA District 3 Coach of the Year after leading the Mountaineers to the most successful season in program history.

Under Coach Miller’s leadership, the Ephrata Football Program has become a model of consistency and stability, compiling an impressive 50–31 record since 2018. He has represented Ephrata at the regional level, serving as Head Coach of the North Squad in the 2022 Tri-County All-Star Game and as an Assistant Coach for the 2025 PSFCA Big School East vs. West Game.

Prior to his tenure at Ephrata, Coach Miller spent seven seasons (2009–2015) as an assistant coach at Northern Lebanon High School. He coached both the offensive and defensive lines and served as Defensive Coordinator during the team’s back-to-back LL Section 3 Championships in 2014 and 2015.

A 2009 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics while playing defensive end for the Dutchmen. He completed his master’s degree in School Leadership from Millersville University in 2014.

Beyond the football field, Coach Miller is an integral part of the Ephrata High School community. He has served as the Dean of Student Success since 2023 and previously taught mathematics beginning in 2016. He resides in Ephrata with his wife, Steph, their daughters, Breana and Reagan, and their two dogs, Jim and Willow.

​

Coach Miller’s goal for the football program is simple: “Win All Day.” Striving for members of the football program to succeed on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
